GO AND APOLOGIZE TO YOUR FATHER ON HIS GRAVE -KOFI ADJORLOLO

Ghanaian Veteran Actor Kofi Adjorlolo told Elikem the tailor to go and apologize to his father on his grave because he has served him before.

Elikem voiced out his opinion after the veteran actor complained about producers who owe him and that these producers don’t pay actors. According to him actors should attach a different job to the acting profession in order to survive just like himself.

The veteran actor did not take those comments lightly as he felt disrespected by Elikem. Speaking to Gloria Sarfo on OKAY FM he said “ I felt disappointed when I was informed he (Elikem) was the one advising other actors to go and look for jobs after I complained of producers owing me”. “He should not apologize to me, he should go and apologize to his father on his grave because I served his father” he added.

Elikem got angry with Adjorlolo’s comment and retracted his earlier apology.

The issue of producers not paying actors have been going on for years now.

POST OUR RESULTS ON TIME. GIJ STUDENTS FUMES

The students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism have expressed their displeasure at the delay in posting their results.

Most of the students at the institute are complaining about the delay in posting their results by the academic affairs.

Speaking to some students at the institute, they shared their grievances “The delay in posting our results by the academic affairs always create confusion between we the students and our parents” They sometimes believe we are not performing well and as a results we don’t want to send them our results” Joseph Afatordzi a level 200 student of the institute said.

“There are times we really need our results urgently for something important and we don’t get them in time for those things” “This is becoming too much”. We hope they can do something about it soon. Peter Agbla another level 200 student added.

In addressing the issue we had the opportunity to talk to Mr. Sylvester Antwi who happens to work at the Student Records information Management at the Academic affairs. “The academic affairs is not responsible for the delay in posting student results” He said.

“It goes through three stages or procedures before posting it. First the lecturers uploads the results. Secondly the Dean of students or the HOD has to approve the results and finally the academic affairs uploads it on the student portal. Therefore if there is any delay in these procedures it leads to the failure to post the results on time” He added.

The problem of posting results late has been going on for some years now at the institute.
